Minecraft Dome Generator
Generate a dome from its widest base to the top cap. Step through exact horizontal layers, count materials, check off completed layers and export any blueprint as a PNG.
Layer 1 is the widest base of the dome. Keep every layer centered on the same vertical axis.
Build progress
Check off layers as you place them. The checkmarks stay only in this browser; the diameter, mode, shell thickness and selected layer stay in the URL so you can bookmark or share the setup.
How the dome blueprint is calculated
The generator starts with the same discrete voxel sphere used by the sphere tool, then keeps the upper half. A block is included when the center of its voxel falls inside the requested outer radius. Hollow mode removes the interior according to the selected shell thickness. That same generated grid drives both the picture and the material count, so the numbers and blueprint cannot drift apart.
Odd and even diameters
Odd diameters have one exact middle layer. Even diameters have two equally wide center-adjacent layers; the dome uses the upper one as its base. If a build must meet an existing wall or ring, inspect layer 1 before collecting materials and confirm that its footprint matches your opening.
Useful workflow
- Choose the outside diameter and hollow or filled mode.
- Check the widest first layer against the space available in your build.
- Mark a center point in-game and keep it fixed for every layer.
- Build upward one layer at a time and check each completed layer here.
- Use the total count as the exact generated requirement, then carry a small practical spare for mistakes or detailing.

Frequently asked questions
How is the dome different from the sphere generator?
The dome generator keeps only the upper half of the voxel sphere and numbers its layers from the widest base upward to the cap.
Can I make a hollow Minecraft dome?
Yes. Hollow mode keeps an outer shell and lets you choose shell thickness, while filled mode includes every block inside each generated layer.
Does the build progress leave my device?
No. Layer checkmarks are stored locally in the browser. Generator dimensions are kept in the URL so the setup itself can be shared.
