How to plan a round tower
- Set the outside diameter of the tower.
- Choose Hollow for walls or Filled for a solid cylinder.
- Set the wall thickness and planned height.
- Use the footprint as the pattern for every level, keeping the same center point.
Material estimate vs. final build
The total is intentionally simple: generated blocks per layer × height. Doors, windows, balconies, interior floors and roof shaping are not removed from the estimate. Treat the result as a clean structural baseline, then adjust for your design.
Choosing diameter and wall thickness
Small diameters give you less usable interior space because the wall consumes a larger share of each floor. For inhabited towers, leave enough interior width for stairs, floors and details. A two-block wall can make large towers easier to decorate, but it increases material use quickly.

Frequently asked questions
What does the cylinder block total include?
It multiplies the generated footprint by the selected height. It does not subtract doors, windows, floors or other openings.
Should I use hollow or filled mode for a tower?
Use Hollow for perimeter walls and Filled when each level should be a complete solid disk. Most usable towers start from a hollow wall footprint.
Can I use this for a silo, column or round tower?
Yes. The tool repeats the same circular footprint for every level, so it works for straight-sided cylindrical builds.
